Haat's motto 'For a Clean Environment' was founded in their origins as the incinerator division of an equipment reconditioning company whose services enabled longer life for equipment thereby reducing scrap generation. The incinerator division formed in 1995 quickly established itself as a key player to customers in the medical, animal and pharma fields. The founder of the company and the current Managing Director Mr. S. Gopalakrishnan and Mr. A S Bumrah, the current Works Director decided to put their entire focus into the waste management sector and branched out as a separate entity to form Haat.

From there on, Haat's commitment to excellence and constant improvement in the technologies used led to immense growth in their product range and capabilities. Today, more than 70% of Haat's products are exported to all corners of the globe and agents are placed worldwide from South America to Africa and from Europe to the Middle East.

Of particular significance is Haat's work in the medical / clinical / bio-medical / healthcare waste management sector. Having worked at the ground level with small clinics in remote towns to large 1000 bed hospitals, Haat has been able to work out the needs of every client and provide solutions that satisfy all their requirements. The principle of sustainable solutions has always been paramount and Haat has many a time, offered much more economical options than what the client had budgeted for as it was important to provide an incinerator that would work for many years disposing toxic medical waste safely rather than having a complicated fancy system which needed highly skilled operators and was too expensive to run.

The incinerators supplied for animal / poultry waste were also a great success primarily due to their excellent energy efficiency. Some large groups came back with repeat orders and have ordered more than 20 units over several years.
